Allen - Humble servant Ministry leader
In March of 2021 After the church and the pantry closed the doors during Covid . Gods Army was born.
A retired project manager who served as a Marine, armed with nothing more than the Calling of God, a folding table, a trailer, a few faithful believers, and a heart surrendered to Christ, he began serving hot meals, giving a message of hope and offering prayer every single week—rain or shine. What started small has grown into a steady ministry of food, clothing, compassion, and most importantly, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Allen will say that serving the homeless is not a burden , but his joy—his time of rest and refreshment. He finds renewal in the streets, among friends who’ve lost so much but still hunger for hope. “This,” he says with a smile, “is my time off , Sundays are the best day of the week, we get to praise The Lord in the morning and represent and serve Him in the afternoon.
“Jesus says,”“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”Matthew 25:40
Today, Allen continues to lead the team with humility and resolve. He rarely takes the spotlight, but he is always there—listening, praying, and helping shape the future generation of believers.

Mary – Heart of the Ministry
If Allen is the hands of the ministry, Mary is its heart.
Known affectionately by many of the men and women we serve as “Mama Mary,” she brings a radiant joy, a loving embrace, and a deep well of compassion to every Sunday outreach. She’s the first to greet someone with a hug, and the one dancing in joy when someone shares a praise report. Mary’s presence makes people feel seen, valued, and loved.
Her journey into ministry wasn’t built on a spotlight—but on servant hood. From the beginning, she stood beside Allen in prayer and faith, often behind the scenes, making sure every detail was covered: the hot food was ready, the clothing clean, the kits were restocked, and no one left without a word of encouragement.
But Mary offers more than practical help—she offers her heart. To the hurting, she is a safe place. To the wandering, she is a reminder that someone still cares. And to the team, she is a steady anchor of joy, wisdom, and prayer.
Mary often says, “Let us show them the Love and Joy of Christ—we’re here to love them like Jesus would, to be his hands and feet. That’s what changes hearts.”
Though she would never seek recognition, countless lives have been touched by her kindness, her prayers, and her motherly care. In many ways, this ministry is shaped by her spirit—one of joy, strength, and relentless love.

Kristi
Kristi is a faithful team member of the Homeless Ministry and a living testimony of God’s healing grace.
After the heartbreaking loss of her beloved son, Kristi was strengthened by God to keep walking in faith—and out of that pain was born a ministry of hope. She founded Angel Moms, a support group for mothers who have experienced child loss, offering comfort, community, and Christ-centered healing to women walking through unspeakable grief.
Rather than retreating from the world, Kristi chose to run toward those in need. She now pours that same love and strength into the homeless ministry, where she is known for her warm hugs, listening ear, and relentless compassion. Every Sunday, she’s there—greeting others with joy, serving meals, and entering into the lives of those often overlooked.
Kristi is deeply invested in seeing lives transformed by the Gospel. She goes out of her way to follow up, pray, encourage, and help people take the next step forward. Her ministry is not just about presence—it’s about impact.
When she’s not serving in church or outreach, Kristi occasionally lends her gifts to faith-based film projects, including The Chosen—with her heart to share Jesus in every space God opens.
In all she does, Kristi shines with a mother’s heart, a servant’s hands, and a faith refined by fire—all for the glory of God.
God bless Kristi and Victor !

Todd
Todd is a faithful deacon at Highland Hills Baptist Church and a steadfast servant of Christ.
Whether he’s supporting his wife in the Young Adults Class, helping lead the Men’s Bible Study, or quietly overseeing the transportation of food to the park, Todd serves with consistency, humility, and heart. He’s the kind of man who doesn’t need recognition—he simply shows up, ready to work, ready to love, and ready to encourage others to press on in the faith.
As the head operator of food transport, Todd ensures that every tray, box, and bin needed for Sunday outreach arrives on time and ready to go. But more than that, he brings strength to the team—especially to the men, who look up to him not just for his work ethic, but for his integrity, his quiet wisdom, and his walk with God.
Todd often says that your word and your dedication to Christ are what matter most. And he lives it. His life is a testimony that faithfulness isn't flashy—it’s steady, grounded, and rooted in the truth of God’s Word.
To those around him, Todd is more than a co-laborer—he is a brother, an encourager, and a reminder that the greatest servants are often the ones behind the scenes, holding everything together with faith and love.
God bless Todd !

Angel
Angel is a faithful and compassionate team member, serving with grace across multiple ministries.
Whether she’s pouring into the Young Adults, lifting her voice in Worship, or encouraging women through the Women’s Ministry, Angel brings warmth, thoughtfulness, and a servant’s heart to everything she does. And when it comes to the homeless outreach, she is a vital part of the team—working behind the scenes and at the table to make sure everything is in place.
From organizing clothing in advance to helping prepare meals and serve with a smile, Angel’s presence is a quiet but powerful blessing. She notices the little things—who might need an extra blanket, a kind word, or simply to feel seen and valued. Her compassion sets the tone and helps carry the spirit of Christ’s love into every Sunday gathering.
To the team, Angel is a steady, joyful presence and a reminder that true ministry is found in the details, the preparation, and the love that undergirds it all.
God bless Angel !

Jerry
A thoughtful and steadfast presence, Jerry has been a faithful Christian brother for over three years. A proud Iroquois Indian from the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin, Jerry brings both strength and thoughtfulness to everything he does—serving with diligence and deep compassion.
Alongside his wife Sharon, one of the most caring and dependable members of the church, Jerry has become an essential part of God's Army. Whether hauling supplies, loading trucks, cooking meals, serving the community, or praying with those in crisis, there is truly nothing he won’t do to bless others.
But Jerry’s ministry doesn’t stop at the outreach. As a master carpenter (and more skilled than he often admits), he has helped countless members of the church and supported the church itself in practical and meaningful ways. His life is a shining example of what it means to be part of the Body of Christ—meeting needs, building up others, and reaching out to those facing hard times with care and sincerity.
God bless Jerry and Sharon—for their hands, their hearts, and their faithfulness.

Julie & Judy
When people think of The Twins, they often think of warm smiles, full plates, and a heart that never seems to stop giving.
The Twins are key leaders who help coordinate meals at the outreach table each Sunday. Whether they are organizing food donations, setting up serving stations, or making sure everyone—volunteers and guests alike—has what they need, The Twins do it all with grace and a quiet joy that lifts the whole team.
But there role is more than logistics. The twins are a walking expression of hospitality. You’ll often see them weaving through the crowd, checking in on someone who looks unsure, offering a second helping to someone still hungry, or sitting down beside someone just to listen. They notice the details—the unspoken needs—and makes it their mission to meet them.
Their compassion is not loud, but it is constant. their kindness is not for show, but it runs deep just like The Blood of Christ.. Week after week, The twins remind those around them that love is not just a word—it’s a warm meal, a gentle word, a helping hand, and a servant’s heart.
The Twins are a cornerstone of the ministry’s weekly outreach, and their dependable presence is part of what makes this ministry feel like home for so many.
God bless The Twins !

Randy & Lisa
The truth of how these two met is one of the best stories on its own, to be told by them.
Team players with hearts of gold for the homeless . They have opened their home up to several of them. Treated them like family and helped them transition to responsible people with the same kind of hearts for the homeless. They have been able to help a few. Some are not ready for responsibility of life, some are.
Randy and Lisa don’t give up easily. Great couple, He would say “she’s the boss “.
Her polite reply “I am “.
God Bless Randy and Lisa !

Becky
A humble servant with a heart full of grace, Becky showed up one weekend to help—and never looked back. From the moment she experienced the joy of representing Christ and loving others unconditionally, she was all in.
Now a familiar and faithful face at every outreach, Becky oversees the dessert station—a task that can quickly become hectic, yet she manages it with ease, patience, and a smile. Her calm spirit and steady hands bring sweetness not only to the table, but to the atmosphere itself.
Behind her gentle demeanor is a deep love for the homeless and a quiet strength that inspires those around her.
God bless Becky—for her faithful heart, her joyful service, and the peace she brings to every gathering.
